Last night, the Lib Dems betrayed farmers.
They voted against our amendment to exempt farms from 300 pages of employment red-tape.
Because of their vote we narrowly lost — now hard-working farmers will suffer for it.
The Lib Dems are not on the side of British farmers.
Busy week in Moreton/Stow/Rissingtons. Such deep concern regarding the Lib Dem’s plans to build 1000’s and 1000’s of houses in Moreton.

In the same week the Cotswold District Councils Lib Dem leader was quoted in the press that he may raise council tax, they blow £20k changing the colour of councils logo. Your money being wasted again and again. @Conservatives https://t.co/CHJEJEFY7b
🇬🇧Farmers are the lifeblood of our rural economy. They work around the clock to deliver food for the nation & to support our local environment.
That’s why this #BackBritishFarmingDay I’m saying a huge thank you and calling on the Gov to maintain farming budgets!
Campaign growing in Moreton against CDC’s proposed 1000’s of houses in an area strategically inappropriate for such overwhelming scale, great to see so much support from our MP, Councillors and 100’s of Residents, and new support joining the ranks. ❤️ #cotswolds

Glad to hear that CDC are publishing the results of the Cotswold District local Plan update consultation in the next few days. And good to see so many district councillors from all sides supporting Moreton against overdevelopment #cotswoldlibdems#cdc
