Hi, so I would appreciate it if you went and followed my account over on the other place instead. If you like who I am or what I do, head over.
I’m more active and friendly there anyways haha
@fortayee It’s literally like hydrogen bomb v coughing baby situation, I don’t know how people can cite stuff like “this specific optional reclass hints at backstory” in the same vein as “FE4’s map is the world 1 to 1” with a straight face
@MunificentFan@NapoleonTheLast Kaga’s games may have been experimental in their execution, but his mindset was the defining idea from the beginning.
In the sense that games from awakening (or new mystery in a sense) have stopped experimenting,
Yeah I guess, but they don’t have a core identity to them
@NapoleonTheLast@MunificentFan At its beginning it was telling a story through gameplay mechanics and systems
Then Kaga left and it has been having identity crises ever since
@ActualLizard You only sound like a crazy person because of the infectious ness of modern game design conventions among conversation, if you were to translate this to talking about visual art or performance art it wouldn’t sound 1/10th as crazy
In other words
Keep spitting my man
Would not say I agree with all these, but I think this is a much more interesting way to make this sort of list vs listing a bunch of barely functional games like Superman 64 or whatever
@Clarita776 Seen so many people saying "its close to good BUT" and then some weird ass opinion about the movement or the physics and I cant help but just think
"Oh but the clunkiness"
Super Mario Sunshine lacks the "polish" and "perfection" that Nintendo fans associate all of their games with which is why it will always remain one of their most controversial titles despite not being a bad game
@zantetsukenn_ I do wish that the man had stayed with FE for a while longer AND that the in game portraits were more in line with his style, the marth portrait is something I can tell was an attempt but they didn’t do it so well
