He and his crew need the corporate comics and movies to continue their woke agendas, or Gary and his crew won’t have anything to complain about and their money will dry up.

They can’t afford to have independent creator-owned crowdfunders making comics, because they can’t complain about them, and that’s a direct threat to their livelihood.

Jon Malin is doing the 24 Hour Comic challenge right now. You have to write, pencil, ink and letter a 24 page comic in a concurrent 24 hours. Only a few people have ever successfully completed this challenge, and it's usually lead to madness.

Last night I thought I'd see what doing a One Hour Page would be like. I did these two in one hour each. It is stressful as hell. And, you know, look at 'em.

But Jon's got a plan! His minimalist natural style should make this a more natural looking result. This is a marathon! Go to his channel and cheer him on!
