Thousands of people across Europe and beyond are burning Qurans in solidarity with Salwan Momika. But to many outsiders, these mass burnings may seem like nothing more than provocation—an attempt to insult Muslims or stir controversy.

That could not be further from the truth.

Burning the Quran is not just about offending Islam. It is about reclaiming our fundamental rights—the right to free speech, the right to criticize an ideology, and the right to push back against those who demand submission.

The Quran is Not Just a Religious Book—It’s a Political Manifesto

Unlike the Bible or the Torah, the Quran is not merely a spiritual text—it is an instruction manual for an authoritarian system that dictates every aspect of life and demands political supremacy. It lays out clear commands to subjugate, terrorize, and dominate non-Muslims.

Burning the Quran is not an attack on religious belief—it is a rejection of Islamic supremacy and its demand for special treatment. It is a response to the reality that Islam does not integrate—it seeks to rule.

A Direct Response to Violence and Censorship

Every time someone burns or otherwise desecrates a Quran, they risk death, imprisonment, or government persecution. In the West, burning a Bible or desecrating Christian symbols will get you applause from the so-called “defenders of free speech.” Burning a Quran, however, gets you death threats, prison sentences, and global diplomatic outrage.

This new standard reveals the truth: Islam is not a religion that coexists—it is an ideology that demands submission through fear. The West has spent decades surrendering to those threats, criminalizing speech that offends Islam, and silencing those who resist.

Salwan Momika understood this. He didn’t burn Qurans to provoke—he burned them to expose the lies. He burned them to show that our so-called free societies are ruled by fear, not law.

Defiance Against Government Betrayal

The same Western governments that claim to uphold “freedom” are the very ones condemning, silencing, and punishing those who criticize Islam. The same government that refused to protect Salwan Momika was more than happy to prosecute him for “hate speech” while ignoring the death threats against him and leaving him unprotected.
