On 3 Dec, a CORTAC Unit, patrolling in Parkhurst, spotted a vehicle linked to a previous car theft in the area. They stopped the vehicle, 2 suspects were searched and vehicle breaking implements were found in their possession. They were handed over to the SAPS #Cortac

On Tuesday 24 November at approximately 08h00, a CORTAC client in Parkhurst noticed an intruder in her yard. Tactical Units responded and managed to apprehend the suspect. The suspect was handed over to the Parkview SAPS. Well done to all involved. #cortac #cortacarrest

This week, one of the 4th Ave Parkhurst car guards received a certificate and reward for assisting in the arrest of four suspects linked to common robbery. The dedicated car guards on the #Parkhurst strip have been vetted by the SAPS and trained by #CORTAC.

On Sunday 20 September the CORTAC Narcotics Canine Team assisted the SAPS with a special operation in Germiston. A number of suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from human trafficking and possession of drugs to murder. Well done to all involved. #cortac

16 September at 13h20, CORTAC responded to an armed robbery in progress in Linden. SAPS and security companies pursued the suspects to Northcliff. Shots were fired but no one was injured. 3 suspects were arrested and 3 firearms and a vehicle were recovered. Well done to all.

On 7 July, #CORTAC was alerted to a cellphone snatching in Linden. Cortac Units in all areas were given the lookout. The suspects were intercepted 20 minutes later. 4 suspects were handed over to SAPS. The suspects are wanted for committing robberies in & around the Randburg area
