You don’t simply build a culture in the meetings or formal work settings.
You build it in the small moments when nobody’s keeping score. When a human simply is connecting to another human.
That’s where it’s real. That’s how it develops.
The work we try to avoid is usually the work that matters most.
That’s not a coincidence.
Go do the hard things! Be fired up to tackle the challenge! Put your head down and charge forward.
Sunday isn’t just the end of the week.
It’s also the quiet head start on the next one.
What you set in motion today decides how Monday meets you.
Finishing strong results in starting strong tomorrow!
Consistency beats intensity every time.
The person who shows up at 70% every day will pass the person who shows up at 100% once a week.
Consistency might get boring…but it wins. Trust it.
Show up every day!
Today’s post was inspired by @RyanHoliday & his book The Obstacle Is The Way.
The obstacle in front of you isn’t blocking the path.
It is the path.
Everything you’re trying to get around is the exact thing meant to grow you & push you further!
Lock in and charge ahead!
When it comes to leadership, the best leaders subtract from the environment before they add to someone’s plate.
They remove any friction, noise, and excuses before asking anyone to do more.
Make the path clearer. Watch what people are capable of.
The goal isn’t to get back to who you were before.
It’s to become who you’re capable of being because of what you went through. To reach your full potential.
We’re all capable of reaching our potential, believe in yourself to get there.
Rest is not surrender.
Knowing when to recover, mentally or physically, and when to push yourself is one of the most underrated skills you can develop.
Burnout helps nobody. Certainly doesn’t help you.
Most people avoid hard the things if they can.
The ones who don’t are the ones worth watching. They are the ones worth your focus.
Discomfort is the price of admission for everything worth having.
Adversity is everywhere, it’ll challenge you…don’t quit, keep pushing!
Adversity doesn’t necessarily just build character.
It reveals it.
The personal work you put in consistently before any adversity presents itself - that’s what shows up when it counts, when it requires you to dig deep.
Adversity is inevitable, defeat is not.
Leadership is such a critical pillar in life. Truth is, most people think leadership is about being in charge.
In reality, that is not always true.
Here’s what it’s actually about 🧵:
Truthfully, the job as a leader isn’t to feel like you need to have all the answers.
It’s to ask better questions than everyone else in the room. It’s to listen to those around you. It’s to empower those to find a way.
