I run a voice AI company. A lot of my job is listening.
Business owners want to answer more calls, keep costs under control, and give customers a great experience. They also have fair questions about trusting AI with their reputation and how it will fit into their team’s work.
I’m using this account to share what we learn along the way:
• What customers ask for and how it changes what we build
• Where voice AI makes a measurable difference
• What needs more work and where people still need to be involved
• New features, demos, and the problems they’re meant to solve
• My experience building and running the business
If you’re exploring AI for your business, I want what I share here to help you decide where it could be useful and what questions to ask before getting started.
What would you need to know before letting AI answer your customer calls?
@DougKennedy93 Love it. If you zoom out even more, allow your first 10 clients a sweet heart deal. Deliver exceptional results and ask for the referral from each.
Sales technique: A recent question I asked our prospect:
"[ customer name], looks like the contract hasn't been executed yet. Is there anything keeping us from moving forward?
We're dialing in our calendar to make sure we have proper spacing for each customer launch. If you don't mind, can you let us know when we should expect to execute and kick things off with your team?"
Don't be afraid to ask for a timeline.

Truth is, sales techniques vary depending on what you’re selling and who wants/needs it.
But across every offering and customer segment, the one thing that stays constant is the importance of asking good questions.
Good questions help you understand what matters to your customer. They also reveal the depth of your expertise and help your customer decide whether they can trust you.
Try it out. If you ask a question your'e customer hasn't thought of, it immediately builds trust. They start thinking " what else havent I thought of? They start thinking there is a risk of NOT partnering with you.
To be fair , it CAN be a skill issue when selling. Building value and uncovering pain points can be accomplished through thoughtful questions. You can build value on your product without stating a single value statement. It can be through the questions you ask, and the implications of those questions.
@matt_teeixeira I agree. Is anyone using openclaw for autonomous agents? Claude co-work and code is what I use but I’d love to understand how people use openclaw over Claude?
@ChadBitcoinHODL I agree with the assumption. I don’t think the numbers decline will be as crushing tho. They’ll still sell at 2-4x purchase price. There is still plenty of people that make enough money to afford $1.5-2M house.
