Ok I went for a drive to Grand Bend today, coastal town on Lake Huron. Been going since childhood but haven’t been in a few years maybe. Went to a usual place on the Main Drag called the Cheryl Ann that we used to visit all the time when I was younger . Mom wanted a hot dog with the works and same here and we were going to split fries . So I parked and since my mother can’t walk very well I walked a little ways to order and was going to return to the car . It wasn’t busy which should have been a clue . I said to the young Indian woman I wanted two hot dogs with the works and she said what do you mean ? And I said well what do you put on hotdogs, and she said what do you want and so I said onions and I got a shocked look, then I said ketchup and mustard and recognition , but when I said relish just confusion , and I asked if she had relish and the answer was no. I’m used to adding condiments on my own at this place but I guess people don’t do that anymore? So then I paid over $21 and she said 10 minutes . So I came back after a bit and she handed me two boxes and then the cook had to make the fries and it took another 5 minutes . Only this one woman and the cook were working here . So then I returned to the car. The hotdogs had the onions on them but sliced too big and just ketchup added and no mustard . Anyhow the fries , inedible, cooked in some oil I didn’t recognize . The hot dog? I don’t know , just didn’t seem very good when the seller doesn’t know what relish is , and the onions sliced too big and no mustard . I lost my appetite . Nothing is the same anymore . The lady looked at me in disbelief that I would get onions on my hotdog . And this place used to be the cat’s meow. Oh well. Maybe I’m not being flexible enough . Or understanding ? But nothing feels the same lately . I feel like I’m living in a foreign country .
While Canadians are struggling with high cost of living, high food Inflation, only g20 in a RECESSION, taxed to the MAX, remember that A LOT of our money flows outside of Canada on an annual basis 👀
Who’s coming to help Canadians now. We should get our taxes back
Ranjit Singh, a 33-year-old trucker from the Toronto area, pleaded not guilty earlier this week to importing cocaine and possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking linked to the discovery of cocaine worth between $3.6 and $4.8 million in a trailer on the Canadian side of the bridge on April 26, 2024.
The trial continues in Sarnia on Monday by Judge alone.
1. CBC - Taxpayer-funded national broadcaster, rated Lean Left by AllSides and Media Bias/Fact Check, with repeated criticism for story selection and framing favoring progressive/Liberal positions.
2. Legacy private media (CTV News, Global News, Toronto Star and similar) - Corporate outlets with overlapping newsroom cultures producing aligned coverage on politics, social issues and policy.
3. Federal government communications arms and related public funding mechanisms - Direct channels pushing official narratives on climate, immigration, identity and other priorities with limited counterbalance.
Media bias is real and measurable; "propaganda" depends on intent and impact. Cross-reference multiple sources.
Another hateful ATTACK against a Synagogue in Canada. This one in Toronto over night
Where’s Omar Alghabra now who was just appointed to the Advisory Council to address Canada's escalating antisemitism 👀
Canada is NOT safe and people are leaving, rightfully so
Mark Carney showed up at the AFN Chiefs Assembly with his usual scripted nonsense — promising the moon on reconciliation, climate, and funding while delivering nothing but hot air yet again. As he wrapped up, a fed-up chief heckled him onstage. Carney was quickly escorted out, looking weak, shameful, and utterly defeated. Empty suits get exposed.
I'm so sick and tired of the theft, the lies, the failures, and the squandering of our tax dollars. Mr. Economist @MarkJCarney can you not do any better than this shit? This is fucking deplorable.
