Sometimes I play old episodes for Sprout..
He doesn’t respond much to them, but I swear I can see some of the light come back in to his eyes..

Cosmos was sitting on the floor of the kitchen, face in his hands. The counter space was a mess, and so was Cosmos. She was covered in flour and batter. She was halfway through making something then stopped, he couldn’t continue anymore.

He softly smiled as he went back to the kitchen and finished cleaning up the mess.

She waved her hand as she grabbed some bacon out of the fridge and powdered eggs out of the cabinet.
“Everyone else is asleep so I don’t have anything else to worry about.”

“Oh jeez-.. hopefully that’ll keep her occupied for a bit. It’s frozen so it shouldn’t be too easy to chew up..”
She nervously chuckled then turned to Razzle.
“Is there anything I can get you?”

He carefully reached over and slightly moved the ribbon off of her mouth, not much but enough for her to open her mouth a bit.

She goes over to a walk in freezer and pulls out a bag, ripping it open and pulling out a large bone.
“Here!”
