Wish Nikki to me is a representation of how people who are still learning about relationships are stuck dumbing themselves down to survive a toxic person they can’t escape, Bear at his core is an unloving, indecisive, idiotic, possessive, pathetic, lonely child.

Bear making the wish regardless of whether he thought it would work or not is an evil thing to do, let’s be clear here, he wanted the wish to work, he didn’t shoot his shot, completely his own fault and Nikki pays the price, (ooooh she pays the long term price.)

If wish Nikki didn’t happen and Bear got together with the real Nikki, the relationship would still be abusive considering how little interest Bear has in Nikki as a person and how incapable he is of changing or just thinking about anyone outside of himself, including his cat.

Nikki is an adult, the entity is a child with a perpetual need for attention and validation.

To put it simply wish Nikki is a neglected, young child, it hit me when Bear has to baby her.

The scene where she is sitting in the corner, screeching with fake tears, the actress’s make up making her look older, perfectly, visually represents who Bear is as person, a child in a man’s body, (he’s 25.)
