Our badminton players enjoyed a fantastic fixture hosted by Clifton College. The 14 players had the luxury of 12 courts & the opportunity for doubles & singles. The PE department plan on attending more badminton fixtures in the coming months.

We are immensely proud of our KS4 rugby team this season. More experienced players have played a pivotal role in supporting progress & it has been incredible to see this team gel & battle ferociously on the pitch.

Our cricket season has got off to a flying start with incredibly high numbers at our extra curricular club on Wednesday. Our teams have also enjoyed fixtures against Redland Green and Orchard so far this season.

The PE department rewarded the efforts of the girls cricket team with a trip to The County Ground in Taunton to watch Western Storm vs South East Stars. Pupils spent time deepening their knowledge and gathering autographs.

This remarkable group of footballers reached the Bristol finals after beating Bridge Learning Campus 1-0 in the semi-final. In the final the journey came to an end, losing 2-1 to a strong Fairfield side. This season has seen incredible individual & collective efforts (a thread)
North Bristol Post-16 travelled to St Bedes for a 6th form basketball fixture. The experience of Mr Dehaan combined with the skill of our squad enabled us to clinch a hard-fought victory against a very strong opponent by just 2 points.

Congratulations to the Y7 football team on their win against Oasis Daventry. An amazing performance from everyone. Special mention goes to Vincent, Mahmoud, Ammar, Eliza, and Yousef. Among the goals were Ammar & Yousef who both scored twice!!

Last week a band of merry men travelled across the suspension bridge to play a rugby sevens tournament. They left in high spirits after taking RGS all the way to extra time in the semi-final. Jake was our top try scorer & drop goal specialist.

Cotham PE had the opportunity to take a team of Y7 & Y8 girls to a โLet Girls Playโ football event to celebrate International Women's Day. The event was delivered by Bristol Rovers Community Trust. A fantastic day for everyone involved!

Our U13 girls cricket team hosted a game against RGS. The team was captained by Erin and all of them made massive improvements in confidence, teamwork and batting, fielding and bowling skills over the course of the game. Great job girls.

A 9 goal thriller! The match was poised at 4-4 in the final minute of the game. We lump a long ball forwards & Raul finds himself in on goal, he calmly takes his chance (hat-trick) & the Cotham team celebrate in style. 5-4 at the final whistle!

The Y9โs travelled to St Bedeโs this week. The pitch was a touch on the boggy side but that did little to prevent some mazy runs from Yasser through the centre of midfield. Our goal came from a set piece with Haider guiding a well delivered free kick into the back of the net.
