We looked on the variation in pollen load and pollinator abundance during 11 years. Both are very variable, but the abundance varies more over the years than we expected, possibly driving the pattern of pollen transfer.

novelizace VŠ zákona se tváří, že zlepšuje situaci v oblasti PhD studia, ale bez navýšení rozpočtu pro VŠ, se souběžným snížením prostředků na grantové souteže a s tragicky podhodnocenými platy akademických pracovníků, si můžeme o zlepšení nechat jen zdát 🥲

Only 20 minutes is needed for anther opening in #Arabidopsis! Timelapse done by a vertical spinning-disk microscopy on flowers attached to plants. Specific desiccation of anther tissue vs. a fully watered filaments is clearly visible.

@marketpopelar Ano, 6 let na základní škole a... Nebavilo mě to, neměl jsem motivaci. Během vysoké jsem se doučil anglicky a na PhD španělsky a šlo to mnohem líp, protože jsem tu motivaci opravdu měl. Teď mě jazyky baví a říkám si, že jsem to s tou němčinou nemusel takhle promrhat. Ale život.
