Congratulations to Hannah Milner from University of Dundee Dental School who was awarded the Tayside Oncology Award 2024 for her project in Dundee Dental Hospital. She focused on promoting mouth self examination amongst patients. Well done Hannah!
The talented dental students in Dundee brought out the guitars and sung their hearts out at an acoustic night during MCAW. The students raised an astonishing £2360! Thanks to all involved, the money will enable more of our resources and activities to get out to the public
Dundee Dental Student Society held stalls on the main University campus for MCAW. The stall saw 100s of people interact with the students to learn about mouth cancer risk & the signs & symptoms to look out for. self-exam leaflets, lip balms and toothpastes samples given out.
A big thankyou to all who supported a recent fundraiser in Fife that raised £1000 to support our charity. The money was raised from an online raffle for a football t-shirt. Big thanks to all who bought a ticket and to Julie and Jodie who supported the raffle loads!
Last week our Dental Students Society held an Acoustic Night to raise money for @couldbeUrmouth Let's Talk About Mouth Cancer.
It was an amazing success and on the night they raised a grand total of £1587!
