SJE Fourth Graders are expert decision makers! With a Little motivation from Kid President, our Allstars generated school choices and possible consequences (both positive and negative). Check out their responses:
Second Graders explored the idea of a “rule-free” day at SJE! Top ideas inlcuded: water slides at recess, unlimited iPad use and a “mountain of chicken nuggets” in the cafe.
Upon further discussion, we concluded rules and integrity based decisions keep SJE a safe/fun place 😁
When Reuben finds a $100 bill , he must choose between buying his dream bicycle or doing the right thing by returning the money. 🤔

September is National Suicide Prevention Month. Together, we can make a difference by supporting one another, raising awareness, and prioritizing mental health. Let’s always choose kindness and compassion.
“Bug and a wish” is a great strategy for students needing a structure to communicate in conflict.
For my Kinder student, it sounds like: “It bugs me when you grab my crayons. I wish you would ask first.”
Our “New to Johnson” pizza party was a hit! Loved getting to chat with our new students and watching them connect with each other!
