Senate Bill 1 passes unanimously with Senate Committee Substitute 1. Now moves to the House.

Update on SB1: New bill states:
1) Add KSCA rep to the state Board of School Safety
2) Mandate school counselors in every school at a ration of 250 to 1
3) Mandate 60% of school counselors time be spent in direct services to students
