To me, chronic pain is just as bad or worse than cancer. The CPP has terrible pain coupled with poor care, higher morbidity, and some mortality. The moderate to severe pain usually lasts longer => worse than cancer.
The HICP patient needs palliative medical care.
@PainDiane@POTUS@ThomasKlineMD@CDCgov@US_FDA@CDCDirector That mother fucker doesn't even know his own HISTORY, THE DATE OR THE GOD DAMN TIME ZONE he is in. AND this mother fucker doesnt care anyway. Never has. When did you touch down on earth??
@ibdgirl76 This is a phenomenon that's rampant in treatment of SUD, & bleeding into legit medicine. Patients who tell you what you want to hear have valuable insight. Pts who say otherwise are "problematic," "uncooperative," "not trying hard enough," etc.
@BevMinich @CQueenbeejdl@ibdgirl76 Beth blocked me too. I can be a real dick at times (I dont mean to be most of the time) but I was just asking her realistic honest questions and she couldn't handle it.
CPP: LTOT has helped my pain a lot and improved function. Doctors: LTOT just causes worsening pain and decreased function CPP: in my case it has helped Doctor: you don’t know what you’re talking about.
@ibdgirl76@joshmcgoo We need to have something like miranda rights. I'm not joking either. I think we should name it after, well, there many good ppl we have lost but that's another discussion. We need BIGTIME RIGHTS before we speak to any of these cocksuckers. Period.

@joshmcgoo I can tell you from experience that it affects patient care. A dr put drug seeking behavior in my chart when I was seen for kidney stones. They did a scan and knew I had multiple passing in ureter. Dr. assumed I was drug seeking bc I had PTSD dx for childhood abuse.
I wonder how using words like “non compliant, pain seeking” or other more subtle words like “tearful, refuse” affect patient care by the time a third or fourth provider reads a note.
@ibdgirl76@joshmcgoo I want it duly noted for all that read this: ONCE "NONCOMPLIANT" MAKES ONTO A MED RECORD ONCE IF YOU NEED AN ORGAN YOU WILL NEVER GET IT. JUST *1* TIME ON YOUR RECORD DISQUALIFIES YOU.
In NC “I left my provider because she only wanted to prescribe suboxone . I hadn’t ever abused my pain meds or failed a drug screen she just said that’s where she was heading with all patients.” Seems common now for a dr to say “it’s Suboxone or nothing”
