@St1ka I think a big part of it is nostalgia and that it hasn’t been diluted by endless sequels / remakes / porting.

I still adore MGS but playing it again on PS4 has dulled some of the awe I’d had for it up until then, and reminded me of flaws I happily overlooked at the time.
