@Mattyveesgarage@MattWalshBlog If that is so, the Pit Bull owners must be the worst people in the world -- like at the number of Pit Bull attacks compared to every other breed combined.
@Kristinartz It is used as a gag in Back to the Future, when Marty McFly is sitting in a 1950's cafe and asks for a Tab, and the owner says "I can't give you a tab until you order something."
The fact that the Catholic hierarchy is entirely male but still spout insufferable liberal platitudes is proof against Helen Andrews thesis that the mere presence of women in an institution pushes it to the "woke" extreme.
Pope Leo criticized blanket “remigration” as a solution to the migrant crisis in Europe, saying it doesn’t respect the personhood of foreigners.
“Many times we don't recognize the reasons why these people had to leave their countries. Many reasons: violence, war, conflict. So simply saying, 'We'll send them away, so we can wash our hands of the problem,' doesn't seem like the most Christian response to me. We really need to look at the cases, and above all, treat people with respect as individuals.”

@tokomolo1@dr_duchesne Whether this is true or not -- mostly not, it does nothing to increase productivity and grow the economy. Economic growth comes from productivity gains -- more capital per worker -- not more workers.
@dr_duchesne So Japan is not liberal? Whether you choose to define Poland or Japan as liberal or whatever does not change the fact that economic growth does not come from adding more poor people (refugees), but by increasing the amount of capital invested in each worker.
@KeithWoodsYT "But modern liberalism begins from the premise that it is evil to make political judgements on the basis of group identity,..."
This is false. This is the argument that gets the Communist's nose in the tent, but once that is accomplished, they switch to promoting anti-White.
@JoshuaLisec@Philosophi_Cat I remember reading this years ago and not agreeing with it. Eliade thinks the nostalgia for the place of one's birth, or one's first kiss, etc. are modern examples of man's yearning for the sacred. But the sacred tends to diminish over time -- connected with the idea of cycles.
@dr_duchesne@artus9010 This isn't sound economics. Bringing in poor people does not optimize in the short-term in terms of profits or economic growth. In capitalism, economic growth and productivity is linked to increasing the per-head quota of capital invested in each worker. Indians = diversity.
