Watching the new Spider-Man movie with my youngest kids was like watching the generational “vibe shift” in real time.

Punisher is Gen X & Millennial coded.

Spider-Man is Gen Z & Alpha.

If this comes out 10 years ago, the cynical anti-hero Punisher is the main attraction.

But to my kids’ generation, that stuff is a tired trope now.

They want “hopecore” heroes.

They want “true knights” again.
