@IWGBunion affiliated. Deliveroo, Ubereats and other couriers in Bristol organising to fight for better pay and conditions. Please donate if you can, thanks!
Our message is clear @Deliveroo
1) £5 per drop
2) Paid waiting times
3) Hiring freeze
If these demands are not met then future action will be necessary. We hope that you will listen to the concerns of the riders. Your whole business relies on us. #Deliveroo#Strike#Bristol
🔥📣🔥CALL TO ACTION!! 🔥📣🔥
Workers for apps like @Uber & @Deliveroo deserve a proper dismissal process with union representation & fair appeals.
We need you to take 2 mins to write your MP and tell them to add their support:

1) Last night in the Hillsborough area of Sheffield @UberEats couriers self organised and took action against @McDonaldsUK over poor treatment. Within half an hour of boycotting the restaurant the manager was outside negotiating with the couriers!
Have you ever been terminated by Deliveroo, Uber Eats, Just Eat or Stuart?
Share your experience https://t.co/v3Saji1veH
Help ensure fair appeals and transparent terminations for all riders
deliveroo don't care when you
❌earn below minimum wage
❌are fired with no evidence
❌have no workers' rights
❌are exposed to covid19
Your fellow riders do

how does @deliveroo treat riders that make it a global multi-billion company & the boss @WillShuRoo a millionaire?
By firing them with no evidence during a pandemic. Restaurant chaos & delays are to blame

Thanks to all who joined our womxn's organiser training on Zoom on Saturday!! We had members from @IWGB_CLB, @IWGB_CIB & @IWGBcharity, & covered employment law, recruiting colleagues to the union, & building to collective action. Watch this space for future training dates! ✊✊✊
If any @deliveroo rider manages to successfully get a sick note and finally access the company's Coronavirus 'Support fund' please message us.
So far we can't find anyone who has been able to.

🚨IWGB CLB Branch votes on emergency measures🚨
In this time of crisis many low paid precarious workers’ roles become even more essential to society.
We must have H&S and basic guarantees too.
10 demands below
Deliveroo riders: “what will we do if we get #coronavirus? Will we get sick pay if we have to self isolate? What are you doing to help slow down the spread and make sure people don’t continue to work with symptoms? I have bills to pay, mouths to feed...”
@Deliveroo:
🚨🚨🚨TERMINATION CASE REVERSED🚨🚨🚨

A Deliveroo worker has been stabbed to death in North London. I look forward to hearing that @Deliveroo plan to pay his family significant compensation and take immediate steps to improve worker safety.

@BorisJohnson When will couriers working on bogus self employed contracts be recognised as workers? Being recognised as workers will relieve significant stress of couriers, of which some work 60+ hours a week. The pay is often below minimum wage too.
As the serving MPs for Bristol, could you please raise this issue in Parliament. When will couriers working for Deliveroo or Uber Eats have worker status? It is not uncommon to earn £0/hr. Thanks @KerryMP@darrenpjones@karinsmyth @ThangamMP #Deliveroo@IWGB_CLB@IWGBunion
