how azriel and lucien treated their respective mothers also tells you everything about their characters btw. azriel fighting for his mother even with burned hands when he was little and lucien still at his big age leaving his mother to be with same one that killed his lover
@barbielain Azriels father isn’t a high lord 💀 you can’t even compare these two situations. I could also ask you, why didn’t his mother protect him from Beron “at her big age”? Stupid isn’t it?
You can like Elain, but I will never understand why you act as if she’s some incredibly innocent, sweet person. And I say this as an Elucien. I think we finally will explore more about her and I'm so excited but let's be real about her character.
imagine reading this entire passage & not being able to grasp that the author is telling you(not subtly btw) that az feels entitled to elain bc of circumstances that have nothing to do with who she is as an actual person, its simply about claiming what he thinks is “owed” to him.
blocking everyone k*lling cassian bc while i know how much he deserves criticism for his behavior in acosh i also know that like every other character this is part of his arc and growth
i don’t give a shit if you like lucien or not but saying he wants to assault Elain just to justify your hatred is fucking stupid. If you get that from his chapter please learn to read. Also mind you, he was assaulted himself by Ianthe. But you people love to ignore that.
@FromHerOwnAshes@alinaarg3 You don’t have to feel sorry for him my whole point of this tweet was to point out people making up things about him. I don’t think Lucien ever acted entitled to her. He never even shows up unless he’s asked to. And i’m aware you don’t agree but Elain could easily avoid all of-
@FromHerOwnAshes@alinaarg3 i don’t agree with this. Rhys and the night court made sure everyone thought of them as villains him wanting to bring her back in that case isn’t bad in my eyes bc he thought she was manipulated. But again you can see that however you want.
@FromHerOwnAshes@alinaarg3 If that’s your view, that’s fine. My argument was never about the timing. Could he have chosen a better moment? Absolutely. My point was simply that he had no ill intentions, and nothing you’ve said actually contradicts that.
@FromHerOwnAshes@alinaarg3 The mating bond’s effects on males are well established. Attraction is not the same as intent. Feeling lust for is mate is no crime. You keep repeating the same claims instead of engaging with anyone’s arguments. At this point, it feels more like ragebait.
Emilio using nothing but Xaden's lines every time he makes an appearance on social media. This man is so committed, he needs to keep this energy going.
Elain compared her and azriels hookups to nestas random hookups decided there was no need to talk to Azriel and just left with no goodbye or even a thought of him saying 😂 she doesn’t gaf
& i explained how you can’t claim that he can “get his mother out” when they can’t even get *themselves* out. are you just incapable of understanding the power dynamics of abuse? lucien & eris, unlike the bat boys, don’t have the power in this equation- their abuser, beron, does.
@lila_cv@INTHAFsostay@FromHerOwnAshes i don’t know what your point is. Genuinely asking what was he supposed to do to help Feyre? He tried. There was a huge power imbalance between him and Tamlin. Can you give an actual answer or are you just here to ragebait?
It also bothers me that their biggest argument is that lucien was part of elain’s trauma. Okay, yes. Are we forgetting that Rhys also had part in Feyres trauma utm?
@lila_cv No, that’s what YOU decided I said. I never suggested in any way that Elain should just get over her trauma. I was simply pointing out that in this series, being connected to someone’s trauma doesn’t automatically rule out the possibility of a future relationship. 🤷🏻♀️
