@AlecJRichardson@alxgrade Returned to this one again, simply because I still want to play this. Any chance of sharing a playable? Or open sourcing so I can tinker with it?
@KennyLauderdal3@Riilu_Art Yeah, I have the blu-ray actually. And as mentioned, lots of cool designs and great sequences, but also some really shoddy ones.
@genmon Very pretty! But, given that it's an e-paper screen, and poems can be cached ahead, why not make it battery powered? It of course adds cost and complexity, but even a very pretty green cable is still a cable that needs to run to an outlet somewhere.
@matt_ostertag @basilsutter @GameDev_Planet Wait a minute, how do you get rim light like that from half Lambert? To my eyes it looks like there's consistent thickness along the entire left silhouette, irregardless of curvature.
@paul_schnepf @Steam Oh wow! Just found this through your latest snowboard game clip and this looks like an updated Skate or Die / 720°, two of my fav skateboarding games ever. Will definitely get this!
@bgolus Actually using datapacking right now thanks to a great post by you somewhere on the Unity forums. It inspired me to start thinking about channels as bit chunks of various sizes to draw from.
@grapefrukt Yeah, the convenience of products like these would be silly to ignore. Wi-fi and/or BT, fun screen, sometimes maybe a battery charge circuit... Perfect for trying out ideas and having fun.
@grapefrukt @KingB3n_ The ESP32 has really good sleep/hibernation performance (10 uA vs 2.5 uA), but there's a DC/DC converter on that board that draws 40 uA continuously, without any way to shut it down while the ESP32 is sleeping :/
@grapefrukt Just make sure to stay away from strapped pins, (detailed under section 2.3 in the datasheet) or weird things might happen: https://t.co/2ivFPQJuPb
@grapefrukt I'm kind of versed in MCU carrier board pinouts, and this one is ridiculous. Might be designed for carrying some sort of daughter board, but as a general-purpose board it fails. However, you can solder directly to the ESP32 module if you want more GPIOs. https://t.co/hebhX3OpFm
