1st Millport Boy's Brigade were honoured to have the help of the moderator Susan Brown to plant a yew tree in the new church grounds, before which a blessing was given.
Rev Jonathan Fleming also accepted a gift on behalf of Cumbrae Parish Church fom the moderator.
