8 Ballons d'Or. Over 800 goals. The 2022 World Cup was the final seal. You can argue the era, but you can’t argue the numbers or the impact. The debate is over. Lionel Messi is the standard. ibr. 👑🐐
@FabrizioRomano Don't let Rúben Amorim see this! 😭 He called Kobbie 'not ready' all season, but Carrick is showing exactly why he’s a starter. We all know Amorim was just playing mind games. The difference in management is night and day. ibr.
@FabrizioRomano Harry is one of the Premier League's top aerial defenders, so him calling Casemiro the best is actually saying something. ibr Casemiro’s timing is crucial; no one does it like him.
@FabrizioRomano The team Michael Carrick is building could actually challenge for the league title next season. That Šeško and Bruno duo is dangerous; the Premier League is about to feel the devil's heat once more. ibr.
🚨 UPDATE: Man Utd are working to finalize Kobbie Mainoo’s new contract before the season ends!
✅ Michael Carrick confirms talks are ‘getting closer.’
📝 Proposed deal until June 2031.
The project continues at Old Trafford. 🔴 #MUFC#Mainoo#CpMajorFootballHQ
🚨 Michael Carrick on new deal for Kobbie Mainoo: “It’s getting CLOSER, so you know we’re positive with that”.
“We’re calm with it, but we’re positive with it, and time will tell how it goes, but at the moment we’re in a good place with that”.
@FabrizioRomano Amorim: "He’s not there yet; he has to improve."
Carrick: "Whether you start or come off the bench, you deserve a new contract."
The right person won't stress you. 💯
Mainoo getting a new contract for Manchester United: a right move or a wrong move?
Leaving after just two seasons is rarely a good move. Chelsea for Garnacho was a mistake, ibr.
Sacking the coach mid-season was the height of the chaos, but seeing your old team 3rd while you struggle is a tough pill to swallow. Massive "what if" story.
Be honest—if United were still struggling, would we even be having this conversation? Or is the contrast what makes it look so bad? ♟️
I can bet this is the only clip you’ll see of him getting beaten, but this is just one out of a hundred. 😂😂 He made that LB spot look like a mountain to climb for modern-day fullbacks. I’m not saying he can’t be dribbled past, but wingers literally prayed not to be on the same side of the field as him.
Cristiano Ronaldo himself said Ashley Cole was his toughest opponent. Those are the facts. Let’s give the man his bouquet 💐—not just flowers, a whole bouquet. ibr. ♟️
@kalan_tomaz@FabrizioRomano Oh, so it's not bleeding, it's just sweat? 😂😂 Just because he’s a Madrid player, it’s an 'unintentional foul,' all good? 😂 Did you not see the post, or are you just acting blind to push your own agenda? Keep this same energy when it’s your team getting robbed. ibr. ♟️
When a Barca fan sees a Madrid player getting robbed by the refs, they’re full of joy. 😂😂😂 So what are we doing now? Since we’re no longer playing the ball, are we adding kickboxing to the game? You call me rubbish for pointing out what everyone else is afraid to say, but keep that same energy when it’s your team getting done dirty. ibr. ♟️
Football is finished if we’re ranking defenders based on how many assists they have. 🤦♂️
Leighton Baines was a set-piece king, but he couldn't lace Ashley Cole's boots when it came to 1v1 defending. One was a specialist; the other was a complete lockdown defender who pocketed the GOAT for fun.
If your LB can’t actually DEFEND, I don’t care how many corners he takes. People need to stop watching football on Excel spreadsheets. ♟️
See, Baines is a set-piece king, but Ashley Cole is Mr. Lockdown. ♟️
If we’re looking at the numbers, Baines has the attacking stats (53 assists to Cole’s 31) because he was on every corner and penalty for Everton. But football isn't just about crossing. Cole was superior where it mattered for a defender: positioning, pass accuracy, and 1v1 duels.
Baines created more chances in a mid-table system, but Cole was the backbone of teams winning Champions Leagues and Premier League titles. You can have the 'technical' edge, but Cole had the elite defensive results. I’m still taking the man who pocketed the world’s best over a set-piece specialist any day. ibr. 🤫
Don't be fooled by titles. A player on the injury list can win trophies if his team is good enough. The bottom line is Cole dominated Premier League wingers like they were all washed up. Just ask the 2008 Ballon d'Or winner who his toughest LB in the Prem was. Ashley deserved more than just a Hall of Fame spot, but regardless, I’m taking prime Cole over any LB in the world right now. ibr. ♟️
@ESPNUK World Cup is the peak of the sport, period. You can win 10 Leagues and 5 UCLs, but nothing touches that gold trophy. It’s 1. World Cup, 2. Champions League, 3. Premier League. If you think a domestic league is bigger than Europe or the World, you're just being biased. simple.
Maghnes Akliouche is the real deal, but the Premier League is a graveyard for French wingers who aren't physically ready. He’s got the flair, but if he goes to a mid-table PL club just for the paycheck, he’ll be on loan back in Ligue 1 by January. He needs to pick the right project, not just the biggest bag
Garnacho trying to be respectful, but you can tell it hurts seeing United fly in 3rd while he’s struggling to find form at Chelsea. He says he’s 'proud,' but if he could go back, there’s no way he makes that move. He’s basically admitting this season has been a flop for him personally
