Our Mobile Makerspace Bus rolled out to CPAS East today! ESL students worked on job skills by coding Marty the Robot for a job interview and they also explored places around the world using ClassVR. What a great day working with the students!!

5th graders at J.J. Johnson Elementary visited the CPSB Mobile Makerspace for hands‑on STEM fun! Students used the iRobot Root to move between ordered pairs on a coordinate plane and then programmed it to draw a spring‑themed shape. A great blend of math and coding.

The CPSB Makerspace Bus visited College Oaks Elementary today! Students explored space-themed STEM activities by watching the Artemis II mission recap, building and program LEGO rockets and used ScratchJr to code a rocket launch. 🚀✨

Coding, dancing robots, and big smiles! 🤖 The CPSB Mobile Makerspace Bus rolled into Western Heights for STEM Night. Students and families coded Marty the Robot to walk, dance, talk, and change colors. It was so much fun!

The Mobile Makerspace Bus rolled into Prien Lake Elementary 🚌

Students designed smartwatches with Micro:bit, built rainbow bridges for Marty 🤖, and coded a 60-sec celebration dance after finding the pot of gold 🍀

Our Mobile Makerspace bus and CPSB Tech Facilitators helped 2nd graders at Dolby Elementary code Ozobots to transport goods from the past and present (Ox‑Cart Man) and use Scratch Jr to bring The Little House setting to life.

🌟 5th graders at St. John Elementary explored Northern Hemisphere constellations and used iRobot Root robots to code and create two constellations of their own! They also explored star constellations through the ClassVR goggles. A fun blend of science, coding, and creativity. 🤖

SPARK students shined today!
1st–5th graders from Westwood & Western Heights got creative in the Makerspace Lab—building LED ornaments, crafting cardboard Christmas trees with Chomp Saws, and programming Root Robots through a winter wonderland. Innovation+holiday cheer=magic!

STEM in action! Starks High School students visited our Makerspace Lab today and got hands-on with holiday tech fun! They created LED light-up Christmas cards ✨ and built game controllers using Makey Makey to play Scratch Christmas games.

Over the next few weeks, REACH students from across the parish will visit the Makerspace Lab! 🎒🤖 Our first group kicked things off by designing maps for their Sphero Indi robots to explore—bringing their United State park knowledge to life!

The Mobile Makerspace Bus hit the road to St. John Elementary! Students became traveling tech explorers coding robots to journey through different U.S. regions solving coding challenges along the way and stepped into virtual reality to visit famous American landmarks!

Students at J.D. Clifton had a spooktacular time sharpening their number recognition skills during Monster Math Night programming Marty the Robot to go trick-or-treating to the correct numbered candies. It was so much fun working with the little on this project.🤖🍬

3rd graders at Prien Lake Elementary went on an exciting Math Quest aboard the Mobile Makerspace Bus! They worked together to solve math problems and used coding to program the Kaibot robot to decipher a secret code—all leading up to unlocking the mysterious treasure box!
