I personally am always willing to expand my horizons, learn as much as possible, and play my part as best I can, however small that is, to make the world a happier and more empathetic place :-)
@H1llmyna@hopecoreaddict@BohoPsycho@twt_savadava i really like your art and stylization!! you have a good grasp on making live-action characters look recognizable but very cartoony at the same time. i love these 2 drawings of yours in particular, i immediately knew who they were even though i've only seen BCS ๐
@NanmbaArt It's not a bad thing to consider people's criticism and trying to learn from it. I think every artist should try their best to learn of and stay mindful of racial stereotypes and cultural appropriation. Even if it was done innocently out of ignorance, it still hurts people.
@Navi_Relemy@H1llmyna@twt_savadava You don't need to be an artist in order to critique artwork. It's true that cultures are different everywhere, so honest mistakes can happen -- but once criticized by people belonging to that culture, shouldn't you try to learn from it and correct your error?
@courage_mindset@cgai44@NatureUnedited not even conservation...?? so you don't care if endangered animals die out completely? zoo animals were all born in captivity and unable to survive in the wild. i'd much rather a tiger live comfortably at a zoo instead of chained up and starved in some dude's backyard
@soil_owner@chribdotnet and also every situation is different, you never know if a dogs reactive behavior might be rooted in health issues that the owner is totally unaware of, so it's risky to broadly recommend stim collars without a lot of disclaimers and prerequisite
@soil_owner@chribdotnet bc while you might know the nuances of dog training, sooo many people just take it totally at face value and will go "oh i can just shock my dog whenever he barks and he'll stop? i'll order one right now" leading to more harm than good :-(
@soil_owner@chribdotnet ntm bark collars are just the most insane type of e-collar, literally punishing an animal for doing what all mammals do, vocalize. animals shouldn't be hurt and punished for the failures of their owners. it's not the dogs fault it isn't trained, it's the owner, always
@soil_owner@chribdotnet using e-collars if you aren't knowledgeable in dog training + dog behavior leads to trauma and making the behavior 10x worse. it's the equivalent of parents using corporal punishment on their kids instead of actually attempting to train and teach them right from wrong
@KlinKypoo@n4p0ll@bot_shape@Sp1thfc There is zero proof that Joshua Fox purposefully went there looking for him. The tweets his fans are spreading as "proof" and alleging were written by him is a whole different guy. He's literally been actively online livestreaming and posting Instagram stories
@SBase88024826@TechnosBackup@OzPardo6@TheReal3ER Yeah. But that fact has nothing to do with why victims & victims rights organizations + activists push the change in terminology from CP to CSAM. If you support putting these sickos in prison, you should support the attempts to have the term reflect the severity of the crime.
@ZerotheWanderer@TechnosBackup@OzPardo6@TheReal3ER it has less to do with the semantics of the word "pornography" and more to do with the way the term has been shown to sanitize the severity of the crime.
