Reposting for a bookmark. Headed into week 3 and struggled mightily with electrolyte imbalances. The headache just wouldn’t quit. Finally added baking soda to my salted water. Wish I’d tried that a week ago!
Carnivore will not fix you in a week. It rebuilds you in stages, and the best changes take years. Here is what actually happens, from the brutal first days on.
Day 1 to 3. Withdrawal. You have run on sugar for decades, topping up the fire every couple of hours. Take the fuel away and the body panics. Tired, foggy, irritable enough to frighten the postman. Normal. It passes.
Day 3 to 7. Electrolytes crash. Falling insulin tells the kidneys to flush sodium, and potassium and magnesium follow. The headaches and cramps blamed on "missing fibre" are usually just this. Eat well, replace your minerals, and it settles.
Week 2. The fat-burning machinery wakes up. It was always there, gathering dust because you never asked it to work. Energy stops crashing between meals. The 3pm coma dies and nobody mourns it.
Week 3 to 6. Fat adaptation proper. You stop thinking about food every ninety minutes. You skip meals without becoming a danger to others. Cravings that ran your life for thirty years go quiet.
Month 2 to 3. Energy steadies, digestion calms, and the "carnivore clarity" people bang on about arrives: a brain no longer strapped to a blood sugar rollercoaster.
Month 6 and beyond. The deep work. The gut lining, inflamed for years, finally rebuilds. Your stored seed oils start cycling out too, because linoleic acid has a half-life in body fat of one to two years. The membranes you built from old vegetable oil are slowly swapped for the animal fat you were made to run on.
The first week is loud. The years that follow are silent, and that is where the real change lives.
@pendavearello@toddstarnes I am voting for Ken Paxton because Texans tossed Cornyn out on his ear. One by one. If Texas puts Talarico in office, those folks can get ready to convert. They’ll become the next New York.
The moneyed elite have stolen wealth from EU nations for decades. It’s reached a tipping point. This migration is a deliberate ploy to give normal people so many problems, they won’t have the energy to revolt against the people who robbed them of their future. Trump is the only politician fighting back.
@KurtSchlichter@jimgeraghty Does Europe have anything Putin wants at this point? Doubt he needs the headache. Europe has give Russia their energy dependence already.
@TheProjectUnity On the subject of Putin, ask yourself why he would invade a country crawling with immigrants, dwindling resources, and are potentially dependent on Russia’s resources. He doesn’t need Europe. He just has to deal with the propagandists who rile the masses with fear.
Your country was sold out by the EU. None of you seem to recognize that you’re well on your way to losing all control over the immigrants you imported. Europe is teetering on the edge of biblical-proportion social strife. The US doesn’t need to sacrifice $billions in equipment that won’t help you with the problems you have now.
Mark Ruffalo is right, the only way to stop Elon Musk from rigging the votes and safeguard American elections and is to:
✅ Demand Voter ID
✅ Demand Same Day Voting
✅ Demand No Mail in Ballots
✅ Demand Proof of Citizenship
✅ Demand Paper Ballots
✅ Demand No Electronic Voting Machines
Elon Musk is a threat to our Democracy! We must stop Elon Musk, secure our elections!
@lin_lw8557097 They’re especially good at laundering money back to their enablers. So good that uber-white Amy learned how to thank them in their native language.
Republican politicians are cancer. Democrats are the death rattle.
You treat cancer. You cannot treat death.
America dies unless you do both: 1. Vote straight GOP in the midterms. 2. Find ways to make GOP grifters constantly miserable.
There is no conflict. Both are your duty.
Dear Senate Republicans, this type of story will be yours soon enough. We voters see you and will not forget. Go ahead and throw the election and try to blame Trump. Then get ready for retirement.
What we are witnessing in Brazil is the biggest political backfire in modern political history.
Communist tyrants came after Brazil’s Trump, Jair Bolsonaro.
He survived an assassination attempt.
They banned him from running for office.
Then they threw him in jail.
They accused him of attempting a coup after his election was stolen, just like they did here to Trump.
He’s currently serving a 27 year prison sentence.
The response: His wife won a Senate seat. His son Carlos won a Senate seat. His son Renan won a seat in Congress. His son Flávio is ahead of Lula for president of Brazil.
His son could unseat the very tyrant who threw him in jail.
The persecution of Bolsonaro has backfired into a political retribution against those who weaponized Government against the people's will.
You might be able to try to silence a man but you cannot silence a movement.
@DecodeConflict Another notch on the list of realization. This was inevitable. The question is whether gay liberals ever take notice? They think Muslims are an end to a means. It won’t end well.
Think about this…
Elon buying Twitter ended the Left’s total control of information and exposing USAID ended the Left’s taxpayer funded slush fund to push their agenda.
No wonder they hate him so much.
Here’s a shocking statistic you may not know. USAID more than doubled its spending on Brazil as soon Bolsonaro won their 2018 election. This was not because Brazil suddenly needed twice the aid. The money was spent on projects in Brazil to undermine Bolsonaro.

@SD73660 What a sad old man. Lived a privileged life, got everything he ever wanted. Now sees Trump in his morning coffee and can’t revoke Trump’s free rent for the rest of his days.
