Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.

In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.

Something that shouldn't be under considered either for the #Raiders, Treydan Stukes & Dalton Johnson have played off each other for nearly 4 years at Arizona, will do so again in Las Vegas

Communication was clear, both worked the versatile nickel/FS role, and there's numerous plays from last season where they react off each other, break on concepts, and look exceptionally natural working back and forth between concepts. Both showed an ability to play bracket coverage off each other, crash down and swap from nickel to FS or robber.

Las Vegas clearly valuing versatility in their backend safeties, and Johnson will allow them to keep Pola-Mao/Chinn at a nickel backer/SS role with Johnson/Stukes rotating between centerfield robber, FS, and the nickel as well. Lot of moving parts in the backend, if done correctly, can be an exceptional secondary.
