I guess this number needs to be adjusted upwards because it assumes that everybody creates a nuclear family. With the current generation of bi, transgender, gay people and cat ladies, there are a lot of couples who do not produce ANY children. Normal families like the Musks need to pick up the slack.

Currently politics and media have discovered that it is easier to first access the "feelings" part of the brain to which people act. After feelings and action comes the truth and facts. Because people already felt good about something and acted accordingly, the truth gets adapted to fit their world narritive. That is easier than to admit they were wrong. In my opinion it is a kind of brain hijack to take a shortcut to the 'action' part of human behavior. Recently media and politicians have been getting real good at exploiting the weak human minds. The solution? I don't know. Harddrugs are not allowed because the human mind has no natural resistance to it. Maybe in some enlightened day we abolish certain rethoric?

@GadSaad I've said it a long time ago. Freedom of religion WAS a good idea and set up in a time when Islam wasn't a threat. If the founders would have known the current situation it would have been something like freedom of Judea-Christian religions.
