@GrangetownBC v @jarrow_fc
Comp: Northern League Division Two
Venue: B&W Lifting Stadium, TS6 7HP
Kick Off: 3pm
Grangetown Boys Club
19th | DDWLLD - Haven’t won in their last five league games after a 2-2 midweek draw at AFC Newbiggin. An injury ravaged squad brought a point down the A19 with goals from Elis Leka and Joe Dixon - his 6th of the season.
They are yet to win a home league game, with three draws and three defeats from six games played completing their NL2 home league record. They lost 2-0 to Chester le Street Town in their last home league appearance.
They are one of four sides in Division Two yet to win a home league game. The others being Yarm & Eaglescliffe, Esh Winning and Billingham Synthonia.
They have recorded the second most draws in NL2 action (5), tied with this afternoon’s opponents and Seaham Red Star.
Jarrow
13th | LWDDLD - They came back from two goals down to take a point in a 2-2 midweek draw at home to Durham United. Kieron Beattie and Lutfur Karim on the scoresheet - that Karim goal taking his personal tally to five for the campaign so far.
Their winless run now stands at four games.
They have won 1/4 league games played on their travels, with two draws and a single loss rounding out their NL2 away record to date. They drew 0-0 at AFC Newbiggin in their last away outing.
They are tied with Grangetown Boys Club and Seaham Red Star for the second most draws in NL2 action - 5. One behind AFC Newbiggin on six.
⏪LAST TIME//
Jarra cruised to a 3-0 win in the corresponding NL2 fixture last season between the sides.
The visitors went ahead through Liam McBryde on 21 minutes, and McBryde doubled Jarra’s advantage on 42 minutes, 2-0.
Levi Collins wrapped things up when he added a third for the visitors on 65 minutes.
It finished 3-0 to Jarra.
🔮OUR PREDICTION//
Two draw specialists meet in TS6, both desperate to end winless runs.
Boysie haven’t tasted victory in five in the league and are still searching for that elusive home win, while Jarrow have gone four without a win but showed character to come back in midweek, clawing back a two-goal deficit.
Both sides have shown they can rally when behind. But with neither side showing killer instinct and both prone to sharing the spoils, this has to have a draw written all over it.
Boysie 1-1 Jarra

🗣 “Another good point and clean sheet on the road for the lads on what can only be described as a difficult pitch for both teams to play on. We did create a number of good chances though which is very positive!!”
