@CanadianPolling Tariffs are a ridiculous idea and only hurt Canadians. You can't go dollar for dollar and expect to hurt the Americans. Ditch the tariffs and ride it out.
@CanadianPolling@338Canada Is this poll with Trudeau or Carney at the helm? If it's Trudeau then you can expect this to be a lot tighter after March 9th.
@CanadianPolling If Carney pulls off a majority I won't be surprised. I'm hoping it doesn't happen but if Trump follows through with his tariffs, Pierre is in for a rough ride.
@CanadianPolling These polls keep comparing Pierre to Justin, hence the 20% gap. Put Carney in and it's a very different story. The March polls will be interesting.
@CanadianPolling Carney is polling very well with boomers in Ontario. I don't see the polls changing much between now and election day. If anything, he'll probably get a bit more traction.
@CanadianPolling If Trump's tariffs hurt American's, how are Trudeau's tariffs good for Canadians? They aren't. This was a bad move on Trudeau's part. Most of our produce comes from the U.S. and he just drove up the cost of healthy eating.
@CanadianPolling That's a pretty healthy jump for Carney. His numbers will improve over time, especially once he's done a couple of debates. And again when he wins the nomination. Pierre needs to change his messaging now.
@CanadianPolling Does anyone else watch "The Numbers" podcast every Thursday? I haven't watched today's episode but hopefully Eric and Phillipe address what's coming from EKOS.
@CanadianPolling If Carney ends up taking out Pierre in the next general election and Canada continues it's current trajectory of higher taxes, lower GDP, and moving even further to the left, I would join the U.S. in a heartbeat.
@CanadianPolling Defend with what? The libs are hellbent on banning firearm ownership in Canada. Canada couldn't defend itself against the U.S. National Guard let alone the combined U.S. forces. I doubt it would ever come down to that, but if it did.....
