@SimonSquibbTeam@simonsquibb And my plan is to record and take photos of all my travels. Mainly for my own memories but also to showcase different places. If they get good it could be potential passive income.
Starting small with some trail walks in the UK and different areas until I can afford to expand
@SimonSquibbTeam@simonsquibb Nothing yet. It's just a slow process. I need enough business from either or both of my new careers to make the switch from being a carpenter on site. But also if I'm on site I'm not making the move.
I'm currently putting together the start of my online coaching
@SimonSquibbTeam@simonsquibb As I'm in a position where I'm earning money through carpentry to pay my bills and survive, I will be updating my laptop from my Acer Chromebook to a newer, updated laptop to handle the coding and coaching.
@SimonSquibbTeam@simonsquibb My business name is Colonia Performance. So far i have a Facebook page and Instagram. I have some forms I'm just setting up.
My Carpentry page on all platform FB, Instagram, TikTok of anyone's interested, although that's more local work.
@TheLordSquatch@oliverhenry Thankyou . I'll be giving this a try. They sell them on the menu as biscuits and gravy but I follow a few food reviewers from the States and what they have compared is different.
@oliverhenry I get them as a side order here in the UK from Popeyes, although it's not the white gravy I've seen. It's called Cajun gravy. I enjoy them, although I know it's not going to be the same as what you will get from a local place in the States. One day I'll try it.
@LexiCothran If I could, I would. Employment for sponsorship seems hard to find (unless I'm looking in the wrong places). I am self-employed here in the UK, so unless I'm working, I'm not earning. That makes vacations hard. I am looking into new careers, though, where remote work is an option
@SkylarSkye3 I wouldn't say so. When I lived in Ramstein, Germany, my parents worked on the US air base and we joined in the celebrations each year. They often went on for a few days.
@ronsterd89 Retire at 30 with 1M. Be smart with it. It's a risk, assume I'll even make 50. Yeah, if I got there, I'd regret my choice, but if I've played my cards right, I will be comfortable and also would have had 20 years of experiences.
I'm 36 now, though, so I'm waiting for that 100M ๐
Happy 4th of July to all my friends across the pond. I'd love to be there to celebrate your 250th! I remember living in Ramstein, Germany, and going to the weekend celebrations as a kidโI loved them. Feel free to fill this thread with your celebrations. ๐บ๐ธ #USA250#4thofJuly
@DrRitaDed Yeah and stink ๐ you try working on a building site or doing construction work in general and not shower for days. Gas keeps my water hot for them daily showers. I'm not re-using toilet paper. If I wasn't renting i would have ac because being hot sucks. There are bigger issues
@Sierra_rak From what I've seen it was France, I could be wrong. But nearly all public places have AC and there's a rise on homes having it installed. I have a friend who has a successful business installing it in homes. It's just not really needed 90% the year in UK.
