@GeesjeWes@RenaldoGouws Spot the trend:
17 apologies and you call this 'anti-free speech'?
Many call this blatant misinformation.
13 apologies stemming from the AfriForum disputes
1 apology to Gayton McKenzie
1 apology to Renaldo Gouws
1 apology to Tiyani Hlungwani
1 apology to Chris Malikane
@RiseAgainstEvil Apparently it is very difficult for News24 and their parent company Media24 to read the elephant in the room.
Their revenue has declined significantly, yet they continue with the same propaganda rhetoric that pushes the nation apart.
What is the hidden agenda?
@PhumlaniMMajozi Having experienced the Scandinavian model for 17 years, I can tell you that the model cannot be replicated in a country like South Africa for 1 fundamental reason.
Corruption.
The model is based on trust and respect, which does not exist in the South African culture.
Do you believe a Commission should be established where the Press Ombudsman should call editors and journalists of media houses to come and answer for cases in which they have been found guilty of multiple breaches of the press code?
@evanjohn77@bennethvanwyk@ErnstRoets Amazing lengths that people will go to create misinformation.
This is an Avaaz petition, nothing to with Afriforum. Haters tried to fabricate that this appeared as a post on Afriforum Facebook page, without any credible evidence.
Any other misinformation that you have?
@evanjohn77@bennethvanwyk@ErnstRoets This is scrapping the bottom of the barrel.
Have you read this post?
Where did Afriforum say that there was a genocide?
@RenaldoGouws It is about time that the tables are turned.
An investigation is required into Naspers and News24..
The Naspers shareholders and SA public has a right to know.
I love how an organization that builds nothing has the temerity to publish gotcha articles about one that serves its community in tangible, positive and constructive ways. The people who run Afriforum deserve every cent they get. And I’ll bet their donors agree
@kalliekriel@News24@afriforum@WernerHuman18 News24 keeps playing the same game because it costs them nothing.
Change the narrative. Legal action will result in real consequences.
Let Bokkieweek benefit from it.
@bennethvanwyk@ErnstRoets What evidence do you have of Afriforum saying there is a genocide?
You dont, as they did not say it, however News24 reported this and they had to issue an apology, as determined by the Ombudsman.
See how dangerous misinformation is?
You perpetuate a lie
@AdriaanBasson News24 gets “threatened” by AfriForum… and generously gives them free PR. Brilliant strategy.
Now they’re “investigating” AfriForum’s member funds—any chance they’ll peek at who’s funding their own narrative with taxpayer money?
@RenaldoGouws Lesson no.1 in the rule book of 'how not to sabotage your business', dont get involved in politics.
These guys will have to learn the hard way.
