Quite a number of people & clubs have been in touch with me to ask when Stepford will re-open. This is @glasgowlife’s response to my letter. No date as yet but I’ve asked for a meeting to press further.

When you open pubs and clubs to help the economy @scotgov but you forget about all the kids and adults who use outdoor facilities to train for football matches and been told they will be shut for the foreseeable who pay cash for to Glasgow Life venues help us out! #OPENSTEPFORD

@SNPdavid don’t know if seen our last tweet to you or you are busy it’s just to highlight that we are desperate for our local football pitch to reopen. Stepford complex. Lots of kids and adults need this to help with obesity. Mental health and general wellbeing. HELP!!!!

It’s a disgrace having to bring all the equipment needed for the kids and try and get through spaces in the fence to get to the grass pitch when there’s a full size Astro lying empty with the facility’s not being used to there potential for the kids👎👎😡
