I engage in buying and selling collectibles. When I was buying and selling sneakers the roi was much higher than a 7% yield savings account. It was higher than my high dividend stock portfolio in my rrsp. I've pivoted to pokemon cards and I definitely dont have millions tied up but the returns are way better than any investment a banker can sell me. Perhaps he is also selling those sneakers.
