Cranston Mayor Kenneth Hopkins’ friend, personal lawyer and campaign manager Robert D. Murray is also the lawyer defending Revity Energy LLC. The mayor insists it’s not an issue. But some residents call it a clear conflict of interest. https://t.co/vwd06kX6GS

.@ferri4cranston told @MayorKenHopkins “You either stole the car, you did a quid pro quo and promised the guy a favor, or you abused your power." Hopkins said the lawsuit over the MG was “a political hit job by my primary opponent” just before the primary. https://t.co/KuDxeqWq6u
I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Carpenters Local Union 330 and @iupatdc11
👷The hard working members of our construction trades literally are the backbone of our economy.
📈Economic growth is essential to maintaining our quality of life and affordability.
When we have a strong workforce of carpenters, painters and allied professionals to build our schools, roads and sidewalks, businesses, and homes, then Cranston’s economy grows faster.
That alleviates the burden on homeowners and renters to pay for the majority of city services.
Excellent day on the doors with 20+ friends and supporters. People in Cranston are ready for a Mayor who cares and listens.
We’ll be out again next weekend and every week until nov 5th. Get on board!

Oh you don’t “get” pizza strips? Should we have a party? Should we invite a bunch of people who just moved here from Boston and have the personality of drywall?
Separately, Councilman @JohnPDonegan has proposed an ordinance to proactively address homelessness in Cranston in a human and compassionate way (https://t.co/4J2QkuxTHO)
🚨🚨Calling all Cranston residents!
Tonight at 7pm, the Cranston City Council will take public comment on an anti-homelessness ordinance being proposed by @MayorKenHopkins
If enacted, the law would criminalize being homeless in Cranston and allow the Cranston PD the ability
on good ideas.
The people of this city deserve a mayor who is always working in their best interest.
I am calling on the Mayor to open all splash pads in the city as soon as possible. This must be a top priority for our parks and recreation department.
I am shocked the mayor would not take my genuine request seriously. This is not about politics. This is about the well-being and safety of our children. I can guarantee when I am mayor that when someone comes with a good idea, even if it is my political opponent, I will act
This week I made a request of Cranston's Mayor to open the city's splash pads ASAP in advance of scorching temperatures in the 90s and knowing many of our city's children are out of school and without a hospitable place to go outside during the day.
