No matter what your price target is for #BTC , over the next 5-10 years, it's going to get real frickin hard for the average person to aquire even a tenth of a bitcoin. Being whole-coiner puts you in rare company.

@tomcrown Never fails,
That's why there's a lot of value in just doing nothing. If anything, just dynamic dca when you think it's cheap and just chill...
Cmon Peter. You know that isn't true. There are a multitude of "budget neutral" ways they can stack bitcoin (the superior scarce asset).
Just converting paper gold certificates that are held in reserve would be worth billions of budget neutral buying power. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.....
Stop purposely misleading the markets by spreading false fud!
That is because too many people have no control over their thoughts and emotions.
They will see one word or phrase that validates some shitty belief or preconceived bias, and run with that narrative without taking the time to quiet their mind and actually understand what is being said and what it means.
Kinda sad, but there is hope. I am a personal coach, I can help.
I am confounded by the bearish price action of bitcoin on the pre-summit announcements.
In reality, the language was incredibly BULLISH!
1. It outlines a long-term strategy for the reserve. (They won't sell what's in the reserve). This means risk drops significantly of the US ever "banning" bitcoin and makes it geopolitical suicide for international monetary organizations to fight against bitcoin nation state adoption.
2. They will find budget-neutral ways to buy Bitcoin. There are literally tens of billions of dollars that can be used for further purchases that wouldn't cost taxpayers a dime. Just converting paper certificates and other reserve assets to bitcoin would double the holdings in 3-6 months. Not to mention, even just a small %of D.O.G.E. savings, which would be easy since most of those allocations have already been approved by Congress.
3. Let the games begin! This reserve will open the floodgates for nation-state stacking to fund reserves, sovereign wealth funds, and stockpiles. Nobody wants to be left behind, so game theory around digital assets will kick into high gear. It's scary if you don't own Bitcoin but want to, but super fucking bullish if you own bitcoin and have a long term thesis!
I could go on, but the point is that there has never been a more bullish or exciting time to be in this space if you tune out the noise and the idiots. LFG!!!
I don't get why people are saying this was a nothingburger.
If read between the lines, this was bullish!
1. They want to fix the regulatory landscape and undo the damage from the last admin.
2. Bringing the technology back onshore and making the US the leader in web 3
3. Most importantly...looking into creating the bitcoin reserve is a priority. It was literally the last sentence of the presser. If you tuned out early, you missed it.
@cryptomanran There's a period of chop around this time literally every year. If we're still chopping around in another month or two, then even I will be mystified.
Gotta look at M2, unemployment, and bond yields too....
@scottmelker "We're thinking about getting ready to get ready to think about getting ready to announce thinking about getting ready to do it!"
We just need to be patient, cause CT is so good at that. NOT....
@scottmelker I just took a poop, and it was fucking awesome!
Not because it was an awesome poop, but because I bought Bitcoin while I was doing it! Look at me multi-tasking! LFG! Gotta love living in a time when you can secure your financial sovereignty while dropping a duece!
@tomcrown Yeah, we could chop around here on total 2 for another month or so. It's going to feel shitty but a good time to make sure your bags are sorted.
This range looks like the previous range before it broke out....
My 2 cents (or about 6 according to Elon):
By wording it "digital asset" instead of specifically "Bitcoin", he seams to be leaving the door open to the possibility of the reserve including other assets besides bitcoin. Perhaps a basket of some of the "American" coins?
We'll find out soon enough....
