Nicole nails it. As much as Texas Tech wants to support Brandon Sorsby, they also want to win football games. Both are true, and wanting to win football games clouds all other rationales for playing in games.
How does one trust a recovering addict so quickly? Does this not put Sorsby’s recovery at risk if he has a bad game and throws 3 or 4 picks and questions are being asked if he bet the under?
This is why gambling, especially on your own team, is the cardinal sin of sports.
Texas Tech has made its choices. Now, the B12, CFP and college football world will make their choices.
Texas Tech can and should do all the things it is doing to support Brendan Sorsby's recovery — but I don't see why he HAS to play football games.
He can be in a structured environment, be at practice, & be around supportive teammates all without playing on Saturdays.
Joey and Cody need to read the room.
It makes no sense for Texas with 9 conference games and Ohio State from out of conference (7-8 ranked opponents). Out of conference marquee games are scheduled years in advance, not 3 months before the season. If the schedules were reversed, Tech would find it laughable also.
@Batfox_Pictures Incredible energy and emotion in this performance. Wish they could find the love to settle their differences and not be torn apart. Would be magical to see them perform together at the R&R HOF. 🤞
Wow sounding great! I saw incredibly talented musicians on stage smiling and having fun bringing awesome music to their fans. Smiles in the audience. Welcome to the Rush family @AnikaNilles. Excited to see y’all in Texas later in the tour. Will definitely be smiling with you.

If Texas had played Akron instead of Ohio State, there is no question on if they would be in the playoff.
We will see the committee wants to continue to see big non-conference matchups moving forward.
It is their call.
