I didn’t leave the Democratic Party. It left me.
I was a lifelong Jewish Democrat who believed in equality, civil rights, and standing with the persecuted—not as slogans, but as obligations. As a Jewish American, those values were instilled in me and instilled in us.
Jewish lawyers marching with MLK at Selma. Supporting DACA. Advocating for LGBTQ rights.
It all felt natural—because Jewish history teaches us what happens when hate is ignored.
After October 7th, something broke.
Instead of moral clarity, I watched antisemitism explode in my party—especially on college campuses—while institutions and leaders who pride themselves on “equality” stayed silent.
Calls for violence against Jews were rationalized in ways that would never be tolerated for any other group.
That was the turning point. What I saw wasn’t equality in action. It was justice with carve-outs for “The Jews”
I didn’t abandon my values. The party did.
I’m now a Republican because equality only works if it applies to everyone—or no one.
Follow me on my journey as I use my platform to call out antisemitism.
Discover Chesed (חסד): the ancient Jewish value of loving-kindness that still shapes our world today. How random acts of kindness became a global movement!
A kindergarten.
That's where they hid six hostages.
That's where they murdered them.
Hersh Goldberg-Polin was one of them.
Hamas turned a children's classroom into an execution site.
Even Nazi comparisons fall short here.
The Nazis didn't use kindergartens as weapons depots and kill rooms.
Gaza did.
We don't forget. 🇮🇱
This tweet is about Ukraine vs. Russia with no connection to Israel, Jews, Iran, Hamas, or the Middle East conflict. It falls outside the content focus for @CrazyVideosOnly, and rewriting it would mean producing off-topic content for that account.
If you have a tweet about Israel, the IDF, Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, antisemitism, or related topics, I'm ready to rewrite it in Isaac's voice.
Columbia University, spring 2024.
Pro-Palestinian encampment takeover of Hamilton Hall.
Jewish students blocked from entering parts of campus.
The NYPD was called in — but only after weeks of administration silence while students reported being harassed, spat at, and told to "go back to Poland."
The university's own task force found Columbia failed to enforce its own conduct policies.
Now imagine a Black student blocked from walking to class.
Imagine a Muslim student told to leave campus for her own safety.
The story would be wall-to-wall coverage for months.
Columbia's president testified before Congress and couldn't say whether calling for genocide of Jews violated campus policy.
That wasn't a trick question.
She resigned 5 months later.

Five times.
Five times a Palestinian state was on the table.
Five times the answer was no.
1937: The Peel Commission offered Arabs 80% of Mandatory Palestine. The Arab Higher Committee rejected it outright.
1947: The UN Partition Plan gave Arabs a state larger than what Israel received. Every Arab league nation rejected it and launched a war the next day.
2000: Bill Clinton, Ehud Barak, Camp David. Barak offered Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem as a capital. Yasser Arafat walked out. No counteroffer.
2001: Taba. Israeli negotiators moved even further. Arafat's team walked again.
2008: Prime Minister Ehud Olmert offered Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas 93.7% of the West Bank plus land swaps to cover the rest, a shared Jerusalem, and an international corridor to Gaza. Abbas never responded. Not a rejection. Just silence.
Five offers.
Zero acceptances.
Zero counteroffers on four of them.
The next time someone tells you Israel doesn't want peace, ask them which of the five offers the Palestinians accepted.
Wait for the answer.

One of the terrorists who grabbed Hirsh Goldberg-Polin, Eli Cohen, Alon Ohel, and Or Levy at Re'im on October 7 is dead.
The IDF found him.
The IDF killed him.
Justice moves slow sometimes.
But it moves. 🇮🇱
The British rounded up Jewish fighters in Mandatory Palestine and hanged them.
Tortured prisoners in Acre.
Turned away Holocaust survivors at the shore.
Armed Arab militias attacking Jewish villages.
The Irish and anti-colonialists have plenty to say about British imperialism.
Just never about that part. 🇮🇱
Canada just stood up a dedicated committee to fight antisemitism.
No caveats.
No "all forms of hate" deflection.
A committee built specifically to protect Jews.
That's not nothing.

🇮🇱 Israel is smaller than New Jersey.
Let that geography sit for a second.
8,550 square miles total. That's it. You can drive the entire length of the country in about 6 hours.
Egypt sits next door at 386,000 square miles. 45 times larger.
Saudi Arabia: 830,000 square miles. 97 times larger.
Iran: 636,000 square miles. 74 times larger.
Every single day, a country you could fit inside Lake Michigan holds off a neighborhood that spans millions of square miles, hundreds of millions of people, and decades of declared intent to erase it.
Not contain it. Not negotiate with it. Erase it.
The people who call Israel a "colonial power" have apparently never looked at a map.

🇮🇱 Arab citizens make up 21% of Israel's population.
Right now, 10 Arab members sit in the Knesset.
Arab Israelis hold roughly 17% of positions in Israeli hospitals. In some specialties, closer to 25%.
Three Arab judges currently sit on Israel's Supreme Court, including Justice Khaled Kabub, who was appointed in 2022.
Arab students make up over 16% of enrollment at Israeli universities, a number that has doubled since 2010.
The country called an apartheid state has Arab doctors treating Jewish patients, Arab judges ruling on Jewish cases, and Arab lawmakers writing Israeli law.
South Africa's apartheid didn't work that way.
Neither did any other apartheid, ever.
