The education workshop CRDF was going to host for staff and teachers from L'ecole de la Grace has been postponed. Thank you to everyone who has offered to help or host--we'll get in touch in early summer with new dates.
Protect yourself and your community from coronavirus with common sense precautions: wash your hands, stay home when sick and listen to the @CDCgov and local health authorities. Save the masks for health care workers. Let’s stay calm, listen to the experts, and follow the science.
On every CRDF trip, we talk extensively with teaching staff, administration, parents, and community members. This gives partners of all levels a chance to share candidly, helps our organization understand new changes in Haiti, and builds friendships on all sides.
Members of the CRDF board will be traveling to Haiti in March. They will facilitate a pen pal exchange between students of L'ecole de la Grace and 72 Seattle area students studying French. Building cross cultural understanding opens all students' eyes to how big the world is.
The forthcoming issue of the CORE newsletter will be guest edited by our junior board member, Ella. She will share how students can lead the effort to bring education to rural Haiti. Click the link to learn more about our subscription giving program CORE.

Every donation that comes to CRDF has its own unique story. This week, we received a donation from a bartender who sets aside some of her tips for those in need. She choose CRDF as her latest recipient. We're grateful to be a part of these altruistic moments in people's lives.

Protests in Haiti are ongoing and worsening as groups protest corruption & high gas prices. The images we're seeing in the media represent a serious humanitarian crisis. School is still in session and we are committed to sticking by our partners on this and every day.
