The ‘Aha Lamakū ‘Oia‘i‘o (ALO) project, administered by the Pacific Literacy Consortium (PLC) has partnered with HISessions to host the SPARX Hawai‘i Music Contest. All Hawaiʽi Island Ka‘ū-Kea‘au-Pāhoa Complex Area (KKP) secondary students are eligible to enter.
PLC released Kaha‘i’s Journey, which addresses critical environmental issues and the importance of developing children’s cultural awareness through meaningful and enduring relationships with their elders. The book is available via Mutual Publishing’s website. #ChildrensBooks
