@jamessowers Thanks to @jspector for highlighting this survey in his For the Interested newsletter. The results are intriguing and will help shape my newsletter to be launched in a few months. Brilliant insights, thank you @jamessowers

9. You don't have to have any credentials.
You don't need a degree, certificate, or permission from anyone - your creations speak for you, not your resume.
10. You don't have to stick with it.
Successful creative entrepreneurs quit all the time - it's OK to move on.
7. You don't have to have an email list.
It's the most reliable way to reach your audience, but it's not the only way.
8. You don't have to use a lead magnet.
You don't need bait to get people to sign up if you actually send valuable emails.
5. You don't have to make it about you.
Success is determined by the value you create for others, not the details you reveal about yourself.
6. You don't have to quit your job.
You can make it without being a full-time creative entrepreneur - and it's often easier to do so.
3. You don't have to be on every platform.
The more platforms you use, the less you'll get from them.
4. You don't have to make videos. Or blog posts. Or a podcast.
Create whatever you want in whatever format you want.
