HEALTH: Privatization of hospitals generally corresponded with worse quality of care, fewer cleaning staff per patient, higher infections and higher rates of avoidable deaths, according to a study published in The Lancet Public Health.
Over the next while, we will be handing over our CPS Constable social media accounts to different CPS members, to showcase different units across the Service.
Our CPS members will take us behind the scenes, meet with community members, answer questions and offer a better understanding of the amazing people who serve Calgarians.
First up is Senior Constable Matt Messenger of the Hate Crime Prevention Team. He will explain what hate motivated crime and incidents are, how important it is to report hate, and how someone who has been impacted can connect with CPS. He will also be out in the community talking with community members about the impact of hate, how we can build better bridges in the community so positive relationships are established long before the need for help, and taking any questions you may have about hate crime.
