@foolsandstars So that means that you are aware of your needs?
If that is the case, you have a great starting point that many others take years to find
@FiveOhOneOh That's really cool to hear!
I've wanted a semi nomadic lifestyle when the weathers good as well.
Getting 1-2 friends in a renovated van and driving around Europe looking for new places and WiFi.
What genres are you into at the moment; any underground movements bubbling up?
@gloomymfs What are my weaknesses?
Oh.. Working too much, try too hard, caring more than I should 😊
We spoke a while back, do you think you're any closer to figuring out what your inner child wants you to do?
@foolsandstars One thing that has been lost with the pace of 9-5 creation is the connection to our ancestors via the starts. One of the few things that has remained relatively unchanged 🌌
What emotions have you been feeling lately?
@Queen_Finxa I always thought that food made my a loved one tasted impossibly good. I later realized that they loved me more than I loved myself.
It's nice to hear that you are on your own road of learning to love yourself :)
@pasteldainty hey kid.
I was thinking about the struggled you had to go through the other day and so I thought I'd send you a message to see what you've been up to and what your thoughts have been telling you as well as what emotions you have been feeling
@sinrusak Good luck!
Its all just implementing really small steps on your good days. Train your body to do things for you.
That takes the effort away form making decision over time
@foolsandstars That would also be a great thing :)
In the past I may have said: "I feel sad" or "angry"
Now: "I feel frustrated and confused because my expectations were not met and now I'm starting to lose hope"
The latter allows us to problem solve a lot better than the former
make sense?
@sinrusak Let's say you wake up in the morning and you start having thoughts like: "this person annoys me" or "I'm not worth it"
Mindfulness is just the habit of asking those thoughts and feelings: "why?", "who are you?", "are you upset?"
The answers will teach you about yourself :)
@sinrusak It took me many years after first hearing it to implement it into my life. The truth is that on some level, you will already be doing it.
The key is to bring feelings and emotions which usually happen automatically and without you realising to the surface
@pasteldainty remember what we said about being precise about how we feel? :)
I am not someone at work or in the street. You don't need to pretend that everything is okay to be "normal"
If you don't feel comfortable explaining your emotions that's perfectly fine; please don't feel pressured
