My daughter Liv is 16 and at college, studying English Lit, Criminology and Psychology.
Today, she came home and said "Mum, my psychology tutor shared a quote with us today and I really think it captures everything Creative Minds is trying to support! I put it in my notes"

We created this simple infographic, demonstrating how to use a stimulus in an activity or lesson. The stimulus is the catalyst for learning, it can be;
- a book
- a poem
- music
- object/toy
- images
- videos
A stimulus can inspire creativity and encourage learning of any topic.
When a child is overwhelmed with their feelings, if we remain calm, demonstrate how to control our own emotions and allow the child to explore, discuss and reflect, this will teach children healthy ways of controlling emotions. Children become emotionally intelligent adults.

Parental engagement! This has always been on the improvement plan for most of the schools I've either taught or governed at. Can I ask, what have you found that works and has a great response and what do you think needs more support with bridging that gap from school to home?
Any Early Years teachers?
I started my teaching career in EYFS, taught there for 6 years and I will always have a soft spot for this key stage, after all it is literally the 'foundation stage' of a child's learning journey.
HUGE offer on our EYFS SOW...
