Recognize your favorite parts of yourself and the feelings of confidence they bring up, especially in times of self-doubt. It’s easy to beat ourselves up when we “fail” or hit a bump in the road, but when we remind ourselves how special we are, our feeling of self-worth improves.
We navigate the world believing that we are born with the capacity to live a perfect and prosperous life and that when we don’t, it’s because we have gotten in the way of ourselves somehow. This is where our sense of self-worth comes in.
Albert Einstein said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
