so, I coded my @OrdAfterlife minting engine to send me a TG alert should anything go wrong... This evening, whilst THOROUGHLY enjoying myself at the pub, having literally arrived 5 mins beforehand, I received a TG alert saying there was an issue with the minting service!!! I literally stopped what I was doing and RUSHED HOME to sort it out, only to find that nobody had tried to mint an Ordinal Afterlife inscription, and that Telegram had just had a delayed reaction from 13 hours ago this morning when I rebooted my router, and my minting service said It could not connect to the blockchain for 22 seconds!!! (a message I saw on the service console this morning) I was so excited when I received this alert because I thought this message was suggesting that someone actually tried to mint an @OrdAfterlife ordinal (because why not, they are awesome) and something during that process had failed (which is odd, but why I built the TG bot), and which was obviously something I could fix within a pretty reasonable time frame (...before the mempool processed the block???) Anyway, what a disappointment fam. GET MINTING - TRY IT... BREAK MY TG BOT, and KEEP ME UP ALL NIGHT with your mint alerts. Please. 🤣😎🔥 https://t.co/KxdpIN5KD5
