I didn’t know that Douglas moved some slaves to another person who enforced more violence. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

“Douglas worked a third of them to death.” I could not imagine putting another human in this kind of pain. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It’s very eye opening to read about how they would run the plantations with slaves. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

@Art202364 When reading this I thought the same thing, I don’t know how someone does this to another human.

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It’s interesting to read about how this term is still applied to events happening today. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

I had never heard of “neoliberal projects” until reading this. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It’s interesting to always read about how people know sort of the basics of what a word could mean but then use it out of context or using their own “definition” of it. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

@BrookeE11598670 @GRACIEP66440560 I agree. Personally I found it easier to understand because I kind of understood was going on a little easier

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It is scary to think about when the one man says “the enemy may be in our own uniform”. It just goes to go that trust was a huge factor also. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It is crazy when the part of the pilot talking about nuclear combat and comparing it to people at home wanting you to participate in this. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

There seemed like there were so many sneak attacks going on during this time. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

@hallbuice It is really crazy. I didn’t realize that it was this close until I watched the video.

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

It seems like after this speech that Africa was just an area that different countries wanted to dominate. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

The speaker mentions a lot of looting that happened in Africa and how it was this endless cycle to turn into war. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

The speaker continues to wonder why Africa is the way it is and how people could fix it. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

@austudent181 I also caught onto this. It’s so interesting how things can be so similar or so different in history.

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

I think it is strong of the black women to try and stand up to these men. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

I didn’t know that 1940’s was a huge time for black women and I think this should’ve been talked about more. #AuburnWorldHistory

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

#AuburnWorldHistory I think that this essay is very important to read even now in time in detail.

[bethany creaven @CreavenBethany]

@GabeWoo74589239 I read this part as well and found it very interesting that this was their top priority because sometimes it was men who could be seen as the priority.
