Last night, 2.2 million tanks of hot water could have been heated with surplus wind energy. €1.82 million was estimated retail value of the wasted 6,758 MWh zero carbon energy. Wind was strongest at 3am capable of producing energy to heat the hot water tanks in 351,916 homes.
