Erratic node behavior isn't taken lightly. Orchestrators may have their stakes slashed for inactivity, incorrect block proposals, wrong multi-sig signing, or failing to validate correctly. Staying active is key to Spiderchain's integrity.

A new multisig is created, parallel to a Bitcoin block, requiring a stake transfer. After six Bitcoin confirmations, they become Orchestrators.

The exit process is straightforward and consists of three steps:

1. An Orchestrator signals the desire to exit.
2. Orchestrator's multisigs are replaced by new Orchestrators.
3. When multisigs are replaced, the original stake is returned to the Orchestrators.

New Orchestrators stake collateral and run a full node. Once integrated, they earn BTC rewards. Potential Orchestrators can send their request to join a designated block Orchestrator.

They run the Botanix protocol and provide liquidity to participate in the Spiderchain to construct new blocks, mint, and burn the BTC on Botanix.
